Delete your account

How to delete your VerifAI account and the data stored with it, in the app or on the web.

You can delete your VerifAI account at any time from the iOS app, the Android app or the website. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete in the iOS app

Open VerifAI and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
Scroll to Account, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
If you signed in with email, enter your password. If you signed in with Apple or Google, you may be asked to sign in again.

Delete in the Android app

Open VerifAI and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
Scroll to the bottom, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
You may be asked to sign in again or enter your password first.

Delete a web account

Sign in at verifai-tech.com and open Settings → Account.
Under Delete Account, select Delete and confirm.
If you have an active web subscription, we cancel it first. If it cannot be cancelled, nothing is deleted and we ask you to contact us.
An app account and a web account are separate sign-ins. Deleting one does not delete the other, so delete each one you use.

What we delete

Your account, your sign-in and your profile.
Your check history: quick and deep checks, Trend AI analyses and comparisons, and Coach AI conversations.
The photos you uploaded for checks.
Your certificates. They are removed and their public links stop working.
Business and demo requests sent from your account and, on the web, VerifAI Doc cases and documents, connected integrations and sign-in sessions.
When the deletion is complete we send a confirmation to your account's email address.

What we keep, and for how long

Payment and invoice records, which tax law requires us to keep, for [RETENTION PERIOD]. They hold the purchase, not your photos or results.
Security and server logs, for [RETENTION PERIOD], then deleted.
Backups, which are overwritten within [RETENTION PERIOD].
Purchase records held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Paddle under their own policies.

Cancel app-store subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the app. Cancel it in the store first.
iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → VerifAI → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → VerifAI → Cancel subscription.
A web subscription bought through Paddle is cancelled automatically when you delete your web account.

Can't use the app?

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. A person confirms the request by email, then deletes the account.

Delete a web account

Under Delete Account, select Delete and confirm.

If you have an active web subscription, we cancel it first. If it cannot be cancelled, nothing is deleted and we ask you to contact us.
