About the product

What is VerifAI?

Know what you're getting before you pay. Snap an item in a shop or a second-hand listing and get a clear answer: worth buying, think twice or don't buy.

What VerifAI is

VerifAI is an AI-powered authentication platform built to protect buyers, sellers and brands from counterfeit goods. Anyone can check an item in ten supported categories from a few photos, and see the evidence behind the result.

VerifAI reads the visual details in your photos and the text on labels and documents, then combines what it finds into one report with a confidence level. A result is an AI opinion to support your decision, not a guarantee, and every report says so.

No. A check is an AI opinion that reads only your photos, with the evidence and a confidence level. It isn't a physical inspection, a guarantee or insurance, and no human expert reviews it today. Use it alongside your own judgment.

How it works

  1. 1. Choose the category. Pick one of ten categories: clothing, bags and accessories, jewellery, art, antiques, electronics, perfume and cosmetics, books, toys or stamps. Each category has its own check, written for the details that matter for that kind of item.
  2. 2. Upload clear photos. Use good light and no filters. Photograph the front and back, the logo or engraving, stitching and hardware, inside labels and codes, and the packaging or receipt if you have them. The more of the item VerifAI can see, the more it has to go on.
  3. 3. VerifAI looks at the details. VerifAI AI, given instructions for your category, look for signs that the item is genuine or counterfeit: logos, stitching, materials, labels and codes. Where there is enough market data, VerifAI also estimates what the item usually sells for and flags an asking price that looks too low.
  4. 4. Read your report. You get a verdict, a confidence level, the details the verdict is based on and a price estimate. A deep scan adds a fuller report and a certificate you can share as a link; whoever you send it to can open it without an account.

How accurate is VerifAI?

We don't publish an accuracy figure yet, because we haven't finished a benchmark we're willing to stand behind. Each result shows the evidence it is based on and a confidence level, so you can judge it. Clear, well-lit photos of logos, labels, stitching and codes make the biggest difference.

What categories can VerifAI check?

We're starting with fashion and electronics, for shoppers in the US first. VerifAI supports 10 categories: Fashion Clothing, Accessories & Bags, Antique items, Electronics, Art, Jewelry, Perfume & Cosmetics, Books & Publishing, Toys, and Stamps. Items outside them can't be checked reliably yet. We add categories based on demand.

Which photos should I upload to check an item?

Good lighting, no heavy filters. Include front/back, logo/engraving, stitching/hardware, interior labels/codes, and packaging/receipt if available. A check can only judge what it can see. These guides show which photos to take so VerifAI has the evidence it needs.

What is the difference between a quick check and a deep check?

A quick check gives you a verdict and the key findings. A deep check runs a longer, category-specific analysis, estimates the market value from external price sources and produces a certificate you can share.

Does VerifAI guarantee that an item is authentic?

No. A check is an AI opinion that reads only your photos, with the evidence and a confidence level. It isn't a physical inspection, a guarantee or insurance, and no human expert reviews it today. Use it alongside your own judgment.

Does a person review my VerifAI result?

No. Every result comes from AI models, and there is no VerifAI expert or authenticator service today. On business plans, flagged cases go to a review queue where your own team decides. For a high-value item, also ask a professional authenticator.

What does a Likely result mean?

A Likely result means your photos didn't show enough for a firm answer, so the check leans to the more likely side. Add clear, well-lit photos of what the result says is missing, often a label, a serial number, the hardware or the receipt, and run the check again. A new check uses a credit. The scan guides show which photos each category needs.

Can I share a VerifAI certificate with a buyer?

A digital certificate with the photos, price estimate, quality score and analysis. Share its link with a buyer or seller and they can open it without an account. It records an AI opinion, not a guarantee, and re-verification may be requested if the item's condition changes.
